Inspector Rating System Overview
The Inspector Rating System measures an inspector’s performance by comparing two key data points: inspections claimed and inspections completed. The primary goal of this system is to encourage timely completion of all claimed inspections and provide visibility into overall performance trends.
Each time a new rating is calculated, a dot is added to the performance graph, representing the inspector’s score at that moment. This visual update will reflect whether the rating has increased or decreased since the previous calculation, helping inspectors track their progress over time.
Key Metrics
Inspections Claimed
The total number of inspections an inspector has claimed or has been assigned, regardless of final outcome.Inspections Completed
The total number of inspections successfully completed by the inspector.
Purpose
The rate of completion highlights an inspector’s follow-through on claimed inspections and helps identify unassignment patterns such as unresponsiveness, no-shows, and other inspector-driven issues.
Example
Rate of Completion (ROC) Formula:
Inspections Completed ÷ Inspections Claimed = ROC
Example Calculation:
5 Inspections Completed ÷ 10 Inspections Claimed = 50% ROC
Thresholds
Inspector performance is evaluated using the Rate of Completion (ROC). Consistently low scores may result in limitations or loss of access to new inspections.
80% or higher: May lead to higher priority for work solicitations.
Consistently below 80%: May result in account restrictions or removal from the network.
*Exceptions & Clarifications*
Inspectors may request unassignment, but frequent requests negatively impact timelines and deliverables.
Un-assignments due to unresponsiveness or appointment no-shows have a higher negative impact.
Inspections canceled by WeGoLook, the on-site contact, or the client will NOT affect the inspector’s rating.
A rating is only calculated when sufficient inspection data is available.
